Artists' Biographies

 

Rebecca Chun

Rebecca graduated with a B.A. in Dance, Dramatic Arts from the University of California at Berkeley. Since then, she has taught dance throughout the Bay Area and has perfored with Patricia Banchik, Aileen Kim and Dana Lawton. Currently she is also performing with Nina Haft and Company and Mo Miner.

 

 

 

Leah Samson

Leah was born in Devil's Lake, North Dakota. She attended the University of Montana where she received a B.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography, as well as a B.S. in Finance. Since moving to the Bay Area in January 2007, she has been performing with the Pfeifle Dance Project, Aura Fischbeck Dance, and Gretchen Garnett & Dancers.

 

 

 

 

Andi Clegg

Andi, a Chicago native, moved to the Bay Area in February of 2007. She created Shifting Forces Productions with Ashley Burnett, and produced "In The Container" with the help of the Theatre Bay Area CA$H Grant. Prior to moving to the west coast, Andi lived in New York working with amazing artists such as Alexandra Beller/Dances, Amber Sloan, Darrin Wright and Kitterbox Dance Company. Andi presently teaches at San Francisco GYROTONIC, and is excited to join The Riley Project.

 

 

 

 

Aura Fischbeck

Aura's choreography has been presented in San Francisco at many local venues including ODC, Project Artaud, the Shotwell Studios, the Garage, Venue 9, in Philadelphia's Fringe Fest and in Boulder, Colorado at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. As a dancer, Aura has had the pleasure of performing for Chris Black/Potrzebie Dance Project, Kathleen Hermsdorf, Krista DeNio, Biba Bell, Christine Cali, Joe Landini, Barbara Dilly, Wendel Beavers, the Ausdruckstanz Dance Company (PA) and Still Moving Dances (CO). She holds a B.A. in dance and poetry from the Naropa University, and is a certified Pilates instructor. www.aurafischbeck.com
